That was a water main break. The pipe was 122 years old - no wonder it broke. Thank God no one was driving over it when it went. Yet, we have two nearly new stadiums (baseball and football) downtown - hmmm... A lesson in priorities, anyone?

Reminds me of that exploding water main in NYC that only manged to kill a Jersey woman. YIkes.

Dang I need to watch news more offen didn't hear anything about it but, be glad like you said that no one was driving right there at the time.
